This morning I looked around and took inventory of possible breakfast ingredients. I noticed we had 2 eggs, 1 half bag of potatoes, 1/2 onion, shredded cheese, and Jerky Direct Shredded Buffalo Jerky. Just the exact ingredients I needed for my breakfast. I cut up a small potato and started cooking it. After I had started cooking the cut up potato I grabbed the onion and diced some into my potatoes. I added the salt and pepper and waited for them to cook. Once the potatoes and onions were done I added my Shredded Buffalo Jerky and poured in a scrambled egg. When the egg solidified I sprinkled some shredded cheese on top and allowed it to melt. Took the sum of the ingredients and put it on my plate. BON APPETIT

You’ll be amazed at such an elegant dish with so few ingredients in so little time.
2 medium tomatoes
Salt and pepper to taste
¼ c. crumbled feta or shredded mozzarella cheese (1 oz)
2 tbsps chopped pitted ripe olives
1 tbsp chopped green onion
¼ c. Hickory Smoked Shredded Buffalo Jerky
Remove stem ends from tomatoes. Cut crosswise in half. Arrange cut sides up in circle in microwavable pie plate.
Salt and pepper tomatoes. Cover with waxed paper and microwave on high 2 minutes. Rotate plate ½ turn.
Mix remaining ingredients. Sprinkle mixture over tomatoes. Re-cover and microwave 2 minutes or until tomatoes are hot and cheese is melted.
Tip: If you like this recipe, try sprinkling healthy Hickory Smoked Shredded Buffalo Jerky in salads, on sandwiches, and in other quick microwave recipes that call for meat garnishes. Substitute the unhealthy processed meats you have to chop with healthy shredded jerky.

I am hearing on Twitter that a Slim Jim factory has blown up. I don’t know about you, but I would much rather have a meat product without a lot of fat and preservatives anyway. Perhaps the lack of Slim Jims will encourage people to try a much better product such as our Jerky Direct jerky. Jerky Direct Jerky has no preservatives and is very low in fat. It is easy to order and it will come directly to your mailbox or door depending on the quantity you order. If you get on autoship it will come to you every month. My wife, Jan is really getting into cooking with the Shredded Buffalo Jerky. The other day she made a breakfast burrito (for lunch) out of an egg, cheese, salsa, and Shredded Buffalo Jerky. She said it was very good, and simple to cook.

Last night we didn’t want a big meal. Jan, my wife, made a couple of bowls of lettuce for salads. I got out the ranch dressing, shredded cheese, salsa, and some Jerky Direct Shredded Buffalo Jerky. I put the concoction on my lettuce to make a taco salad and Jan just put the ranch dressing on hers. She tasted mine and promptly converted her’s to a taco salad as well.
