Do you make your own jerky?

I was talking to a friend a couple of years ago and he said that started he just started to make his own jerky but that that it really doesn’t save him that much money over buying Jerky Direct jerky. He gave me a small piece of his jerky to try and at first it seemed to taste pretty good, but about a half hour later I could still taste it, and it wasn’t as pleasant by then.

I think he said he bought 5 pounds of meat and it shrunk down to 1 pound. That’s gets expensive just to make a trial batch. He could have gotten into Jerky Direct and bought it at wholesale for less, it would have been a lot easier, and he would have had a much better product.

Since then he joined Jerky Direct and gets his jerky delivered every month. It’s easy, better quality, and he can invite others so they can have the same benefits.

Jerky Nachos

Do you Like Nachos? Try this.

JERKY NACHOS (Quick, Delicious…and EASY)

Take Velveta cheese and cube it along with shredded, peppered or hot jerky. Microwave until melted.
Spread over nacho chips and cover with olives, tomatoes, sour cream, guacamole and green onions.

Top with more jerky.
Great anytime snack!

Starting A Business In These Economic Times

Although I have worked all my life for someone else I’ve always wanted my own business. I have had several businesses, a few made money, many did not. None of my businesses cost much or required hiring employees. I considered building a fast food restaurant a few times which would cost me plenty in both the initial start-up and overhead, including employees. Today however considering the economic situation and instability of our government regulations & taxes I would not entertain the idea of putting significant funds into a business that has significant start-up or overhead costs.
